Dear Parents,

When you register for the 2022 North Side Fall Football or Cheer Season, you will be given the option of participating in our Snap-Raise Fundraising Campaign, or opting out of the fundraiser for $500 ($750 per family).

This email provides details why we do the fundraiser, how it works, and  instructions on how to sign up for the fundraiser (it is super easy). If, after learning about the fundraiser, you decide to opt out, please contact Mark Ditsch at Mark_Ditsch@yahoo.com.

Why do we do this fundraiser?

Our mission at NSYF is to provide every youth that wants to play football, the ability to pay regardless of socioeconomic status. Football is truly a team sport and does not exclude people, it welcomes people. We believe that we provide a product that compares to other youth programs charging 5 or 10 times as much as us. It would be impossible for us to provide this product and fulfill our mission without creating additional revenue sources. That's where Snap-Raise comes in.   We have storage, insurance, apparel, equipment, field space, league, game field costs, Chicago Park District partnership fees, marketing, employee costs, etc. - the list goes on and on. We also want to remind people that this is a not for profit business (like many youth sports programs); this is a 501(c)3 in which no parent, board member, or family profits or gets paid from being involved. The only people that make any money in our program are paid, non-parent coaches, who are paid an extremely small stipend and do this out of their passion for youth and football.

How it works and  what to do?

It's very simple. First, sign up on Snap! Raise (for those of you that are new to it) or log in (if you’ve used it before) using this link: Snap-Raise Sign Up

You will be directed to add emails.  These email addresses will start receiving Snap Raise emails on August 20th, 2021.  These Snap Raise emails will explain our program, our fundraising goals, what we will use the money for, and provide a short video of the players.  These emails will then ask for a donation.  If a donation is not received,  another email will be sent again approximately one week later.  The fundraiser lasts for 28 days.  

The expectation is that every member of our organization has 20 quality emails uploaded to your profile. North Side will be able to track this! Make sure your emails do NOT include students, teachers, fake emails, etc. and are only legitimate potential donors. Again, North Side will be tracking this.

The emails you provide will never be sold by Snap-Raise or North Side Youth Football. They are simply used to solicit donations. There will be incentives for those that participate fully in this campaign!
